Beni Otake is a red upright with a bamboo-like appearance. It has brilliant red linearlobum leaves in spring, and its color grows brighter as other varieties fade in the heat of summer. Beni Otake is more upright than Atrolineare. Fall color is scarlet. (big red bamboo )

Red Bamboo, the translated name of this vigorous 10' variety, is descriptive of its beautiful deeply-lobed red leaves. PSh/Med
