I am sure that there are lots of differences between Shaina, Carli's Corner, etc. and Adrian's Compact, but they escape me. This is a very nice, dark red small leafed, dwarf palmatum; the fall color is bright scarlet and orange. Zone 5.

Adrian’s Compact is a pretty, dwarf red maple. The summer color is more red than purple, and its leaves appear to glow in direct light. The fall color is a strong red. Adrian’s Compact matures in size to around 5’ by 5’, and it has larger leaves and a more open structure than Shaina.
