The short, rigid, sulfur yellow needles on randomly arranged branches are quite alluring. The overall appearance of the young plant is bushy, but as it matures, a leader is formed and it takes the form of a more pyramidal tree. Grows 3-6" a year.

Sulfur-yellow needles make this slow-growing flat-topped shrub a real eye-catcher but also demand some shade to prevent sunburn. PSh/Med
